Around the world, young people are stepping up in amazing ways to make a difference for Jesus. Several of these moments were witnessed at the 2011 South Caribbean Conference Youth Convention. Ten-year-old Shafiqua Williams, a non-Adventist Pathfinder member, had delivered a presentation at an earlier Pathfinder fair that left the youth leaders so impressed, they asked her to present the Sabbath school message for the convention. Empowered by the Holy Spirit and on fire for Jesus Christ, Shafiqua delivered an inspiring message. Under the theme of the Great Controversy, she underlined the times in which we live and challenged youth and leaders alike to make a greater commitment to the message of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
